If we want to reach real peace in this world…
we shall have to begin with children
Mahatma Gandhi

CSPeace promotes awareness, tolerance, and peaceful communication between children of different cultures, countries, and belief systems through collaborative art projects.
The main objective of CSPeace is to inspire children to appreciate each other’s special gifts by participating in shared art projects calling for cooperation and friendship. Through mutual art tasks such as story telling, drama, music, painting and other forms of expressive arts, children develop life-long bonds and become messengers of peace in their communities. Such shared experiences often become alternative vehicles to violence and motivate children to spread important morals.

The following values are highly emphasized by the messengers of CSPeace.
We are all responsible for each other. It is our duty to protect all people and build communities based on peace, cooperation and tolerance.
Violence is not an acceptable form of behavioral solution, and all people have the right to be respected.
Hate and judgment against others leads to more intolerance and violence.
Every individual can make a difference by resisting what is wrong and choosing the right behavior.

CSPeace adopts a unique outlook to the problem of increased violence in the world by shifting the responsibilities to the members of local communities. By inspiring young children to communicate and collaborate with other children across the globe through expressive arts, opportunities are created for a long-lasting awareness and friendship.
